OLE SMOKY ADDS JASON PATISON & SCOTT BLOOMQUIST TO RACING ROSTER
Ole Smoky® Tennessee Moonshine is excited to welcome Jason Patison and Scott Bloomquist to their racing family! The connection between racing and moonshine dates back to the sport’s beginnings when stock cars first started “running shine” from state to state in cars modified to be fast enough to outrun the law on the backroads of Tennessee, Virginia and the Carolinas. Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine is a proud supporter of racing and is a major sponsor at various racetracks across the country.
Jason Patison has been competing in all forms of racing, both asphalt and dirt, for 17 years. He has moved up in ranks over the years and culminated his full-time career with a 3-year stint in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, ending in 2010. After a couple years of part time racing in various divisions, Patison began racing full time again in 2013. He returned to series' in which he has enjoyed a championship and numerous main event wins, the Lucas Oil Modified Series and the NASCAR Whelen All American Series, and has already visited victory lane once again!
A nationally touring dirt late model race car driver, Scott Bloomquist is a 2-time Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion and National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer. Bloomquist is also a 6-time winner of
The Dream at Eldora Speedway. In 2006, he was named the RPM Racing News driver of the year. He has been racing since 1980 and currently resides in East Tennessee on the family farm. Right now, you can catch him out on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour! He is already a winner in the 2014 season so be sure to keep an eye out for him at the next race!
