OLE SMOKY EXPANDS ITS EAST TENNESSEE FOOTPRINT WITH NEW 30,000 SF WAREHOUSE

The Newport, Tennessee, Facility Underscores the Company's Substantial Growth

Gatlinburg, Tenn. (April 23, 2019) – Ole Smoky is proud to announce the execution of their long-term lease of a 30,000-square-foot warehouse located on a 3-acre parcel in Newport, Tennessee. Located at 100 Tevet Way, formerly 400 Cherry Street, within 35 miles of Ole Smoky distilleries in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, the Newport facility is perfectly positioned for the storage of finished goods, freeing up existing warehouse space and accommodating future expansion goals. The warehouse is also within easy reach of our current employee base as well as the Newport labor pool. The addition of the warehouse marks a significant milestone for the fast-growing, award-winning brand.

"Facilitating significant growth without sacrificing quality or customer experience has been a primary goal since we launched Ole Smoky moonshine in 2010," says Robert Hall, CEO of Ole Smoky. "With the addition of our premium line of whiskeys in 2016, it quickly became apparent that additional storage space was key to our ability to grow successfully and continue to provide our customers with excellent service. We're thankful to the City of Newport and to our new landlords, TEVET Technology Solutions, LLC. —a respected Tennessee service-disabled veteran owned company— for welcoming Ole Smoky to Cocke County with open arms"

In addition to the Newport warehouse, Ole Smoky's 2019 growth plan also includes a new distillery and retail store in Nashville, which is scheduled to open in spring of this year.

About Ole Smoky Distillery LLC

Ole Smoky is the leading craft distiller in the US and the first federally licensed distiller in the history of East Tennessee. Founded in 2010, Ole Smoky's roots can be traced to the Smoky Mountains' earliest settlers, families who produced moonshine with enduring pride and Appalachian spirit. In 2009, Tennessee laws changed, and suddenly, it was legal to make, distill and sell the infamous and illicit moonshine the region had become known for — and Ole Smoky was born, with products crafted from a century-old recipe. In 2016, Ole Smoky debuted its line of premium whiskeys, some of which have been launched nationally. Today, Ole Smoky retails globally and offers more than 25 creative moonshine flavors and 17 inventive whiskey flavors. Ole Smoky can be found at the company's distilleries, online, in grocery and liquor stores nationwide, as well as in on-premise establishments, including some of the biggest music and sporting venues in the
country. Ole Smoky is the home to the most visited distillery in the world and in 2018 alone, more than four million people visited Ole Smoky's three famed East Tennessee locations: The Holler and The Barrelhouse in Gatlinburg and The Barn in Pigeon Forge. In 2019, Ole Smoky will open a fourth location in Nashville. For more information, please visit olesmoky.com and follow Ole Smoky on social media @olesmoky.
