Ole Smoky Distillery Receives Shanken Communications’ Impact Blue Chip Brand Award for Second Consecutive Year
GATLINBURG, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ole Smoky Distillery, one of the nation’s fastest growing spirits companies, announced today it has earned an Impact Blue Chip Award from M. Shanken Communications for the second year in a row. The leading publisher in the U.S. Wine & Spirits industry is known for such magazines as Wine Spectator, Impact, Market Watch, Food Arts, and Cigar Aficionado.
Each year, Impact recognizes the beverage alcohol industry’s best long-term performers with its “Blue Chip” Brands. To earn honors, brands must have:
- At least 10 consecutive years of volume growth (2011 through 2021), or at least eight annual increases the past 10 calendar years
- An average annual compound growth rate of at least 2% from 2011 to 2021
- At least $25 million gross profit in 2021 and at least 500,000 nine-liter cases depleted
