Special Performance by Grammy Winning, Bluegrass Legend, Dr. Ralph Stanley

Gatlinburg, TN – March 14, 2014 – Ole Smoky® Tennessee Moonshine Distillery (The Holler™) announced today that they will live stream the kick-off to their 2014 concert series featuring The Soggy Bottom Boys— the rollicking old-time string band featured on the silver screen and known for the Grammy winning song  "Man of Constant Sorrow". The band is reuniting for their first-ever onstage performance on Saturday, March 22, at The Holler located at 903 Parkway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  It is a free show that starts at 5:00 PM and will feature a special performance by bluegrass legend, Grand Ole Opry Member and Grammy Award winning musician, Dr. Ralph Stanley.

To accompany this exciting performance, Ole Smoky is rolling out the debut of the first barrel-aged premium moonshine, Charred Moonshine. Hand crafted, smooth, and slowly aged, this fine mountain whiskey is bottled at 105 proof and packaged in traditional 750 ml mason jars. Ole Smoky’s first premium moonshine retails for around $39.95, reflecting the value of extra care, time and quality.  The local launch precedes a nationwide launch to follow in spring 2014.

The live stream will be available to the public at http://olesmoky.com/concert and will begin at 5:00 PM EST on Saturday, March 22.

A group of venerable musicians, The Soggy Bottom Boys are Dan Tyminski, Barry Bales, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan and Mike Compton with 47 Grammys between them.
