If you’re hankering for a taste of Appalachia, then you might try this beauty. It comes to us from Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine in Gatlinburg, TN, which is poised on the edge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This moonshine won’t make you go blind; that said, you’ll likely have trouble keeping your eyes open after 6 or 7 of these puppies. Can you have a margarita without tequila? Many say no, but we say screw it, it’ll get the job done. Banjo not included.

 

 

Ingredients:

2 parts Ole Smoky® Original Moonshine

1 part Lime Juice

1 part Simple Syrup

1 part Triple Sec

 

 

 

Instructions:

Garnish the rim with salt and sugar as you see fit. Mix the ingredients well, and pour over ice. A mason jar is a good home for this drink, but whatever glass you have should work.
