Ole Smoky Whiskey Receives Coveted Impact Hot Prospect Award

Ole Smoky Distillery, one of the nation’s fastest growing spirits companies, announced today its Ole Smoky Whiskey line, including more than 17 inventive varieties, has been named an Impact Hot Prospect Brand by M. Shanken Communications’ Impact Newsletter for the 2019 calendar year. This is the first time Ole Smoky Distillery has been named to this prestigious list of emerging stars of the industry, but the company has already earned an Impact Hot Brand Award in 2017, 2018 and 2019, which recognizes the fastest growing spirits labels.

The 2019 Impact Hot Prospect Brands will be recognized in the September 1 and 15 Impact Global Newsletter, as well as the October issue of Market Watch.

The criteria for this recognition include depletions of at least 50,000 cases but not over 200,000 cases in 2019 and at least 15% growth in 2019 and consistent growth in 2017 and 2018.

"We are honored that our Ole Smoky Whiskey product line has been named a Hot Prospect Brand by M. Shanken Communications. Ole Smoky’s family of flavored whiskeys stand out amongst the rest because of their creativity, quality and range of delicious flavors,” said Robert Hall, CEO, Ole Smoky Distillery. “I am proud of our team’s performance, getting these great tasting products to market and significantly growing their sales over time. I look forward to expanding our distribution and consumer following for many years to come.”

Ole Smoky’s Whiskey line was introduced in 2017 and now includes more than 17 popular varieties. Consumers can sample a constantly rotating assortment of flavors at the company’s Barrelhouse Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, which focuses on the company’s whiskey line.

A range of flavors are also distributed nationally, including Salty Caramel Whiskey, Mango Habanero Whiskey, Salty Watermelon Whiskey, Peach Whiskey, Blended Whiskey, and the newest flavor, Ole Smoky Peanut Butter Whiskey, handcrafted in small batches for a creamy peanut butter taste.
