Ole Smoky Distillery Receives Coveted Impact Hot Prospect Award for Third Time
Ole Smoky Distillery, one of the nation’s fastest growing spirits companies, announced its Ole Smoky Banana Pudding Cream, Ole Smoky White Chocolate Strawberry Cream, and Ole Smoky Moonshine Mini’s have been named an Impact Hot Prospect Brand by M. Shanken Communications Impact Newsletter for the 2023 calendar year. This is not the first time Ole Smoky Distillery has been named to this prestigious list of emerging stars of the industry, as the company has already earned Impact Hot Prospect Awards in 2019 and 2022.
The 2023 Impact Hot Prospect Brands will be recognized in the September 1 and 15 Impact Global Newsletter, as well as the October issue of Market Watch. The criteria for this recognition include depletions of at least 50,000 cases but not over 200,000 cases in 2023, at least 15% growth in 2023 and consistent growth in 2021 and 2022.

Ole Smoky first launched its moonshine creams in 2014 with Mountain Java, which is a coffee cream. Since that time the company has created and tested over twenty other cream flavors including the 2021 launch of Banana Pudding Cream and the White Chocolate Strawberry Cream which quickly became fan favorites. Initially, both flavors were sold exclusively at Ole Smoky’s Distilleries in Tennessee, but due to overwhelming consumer demand, the White Chocolate Strawberry Cream and Banana Pudding Cream are now available at liquor stores across the country. Since then, the cream-based moonshine line has grown to six flavors available in year-round wholesale distribution, including Butter Pecan, Orange Shinesicle and Key Lime Pie. The creamy moonshine flavors mark a unique addition to Ole Smoky’s portfolio and can be enjoyed, straight as a dessert, on the rocks, added to coffee or mixed into cocktails.
Ole Smoky’s Moonshine Minis are available in 50ML bottles with a variety of flavors, perfect for gifting, traveling, and sampling. The Moonshine Minis provides consumers with the convenience of smaller bottles and the opportunity to try multiple flavors, much like the moonshine and whiskey tasting experiences offered at the Ole Smoky Distilleries in Tennessee. The attractive jar is even used by many consumers for storing foods or other products after the moonshine has been enjoyed. The Moonshine Minis can be found across the United States in liquor stores and other locations that typically sell spirits.
