Ole Smoky Featured in Caribbean Issue of Americas Duty Free Magazine
Moonshine has a rich tradition in America, and especially in the Tennessee and Kentucky region of Appalachia during prohibition. Secret stills produced strong liquor that was distilled and ultimately carried to its destination secretly, under light of the moon. Clandestine moonshine operations may be a thing of the past, but with Ole Smoky, moonshine is gaining a new popularity and even notoriety as it makes its way in bright daylight to some of the sunniest places in Latin America and the Caribbean after being launched in the duty free market in these regions at the 2014 IAADFS in Orlando.
